    <title>What is Human Dignity?</title>

    <content type="html">I agree with some in saying that the basis of human dignity is the inherent worth and value of a person. Where does this worth or value come from? I believe it comes from each of us being created in the image of God. This is a belief held by others including the founding fathers of our great nation. The Declaration of Independence states: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." This quote further expounds on the idea of human dignity as it not only addresses a person's worth or value but how they should be treated in light of the fact that they have such.     <title>Thoughts on the election</title>

    <content type="html">I don't really want to get in to heavy politics so I thought I'd just mention a few things about my voting experience. Tuesday was the first time I've been eligible to vote and I guess I was kinda surprised at how easy it was. I had registered previous to voting and so the only thing to be done once I got to the polling place was to sign next to my name. Another thing that surprised me was the items on the ballot. For example I was expecting to vote for Governor, the various representatives, Attorney General, etc. I wasn't expecting to vote for County Soil Commissioner. All in all it was a good experience, I'm very thankful for the opportunity we have in our country to vote.</content>

    <title>Social Networking</title>

    <content type="html">I am fascinated by the boom of social networks seen on the Internet today. The whole social aspect has so many ramifications. Thinking even in terms of developing new online services today, you need to think not only of creating something that uses the latest greatest technology but something that meets the social needs and desires of users. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are also the many interesting ramifications for the users of social networks. Take Facebook for example, 5 years ago when someone graduated from high school and went off to college, it could have very well been the last time they saw many of their classmates apart from reunions and such. Today, because of services such as Facebook, you can keep in constant contact with such classmates. Whether this is good or bad remains to be seen.</content>

    <content type="html">One of the stories making tech news these days is Zune, Microsoft's new media player coming out in about a month. I had the opportunity to see a brief demo on the web the other day and I must say it didn't look half bad.
